Cooking is not required, so the whole family can join in the fun. Make and enjoy instantly, store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks, or store in the freezer for up to 1 year.
Jams are not just for toast! Use your fresh homemade jam as a glaze for pork, ham, chicken, or beef.
Yields: 5 pints

All you need to get started:
4 cups of your favorite crushed fruit*
1 cups sugar**
1 packet Mrs. Wages No Cook Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin
Freezer containers
*Fresh or frozen fruit both work. Allow frozen fruit to thaw in refrigerator before crushing
**Substitute with Splenda No Calorie Sweetener (Granular)


Peach Freezer Jam:
1. In a large mixing bowl, stir 4 cups crushed peeled peaches, 1 cups sugar (or Splenda) and 3 tbsp lemon juice until well blended. Let stand for 10 minutes. For thicker jam, bring crushed peaches to a boil before mixing with other ingredients.
2. Gradually stir contents of Mrs. Wages Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin into the peach mixture. Stir 3 minutes longer. Ladle and store as directed on package.

Fruit Suggestions:
For best results, use tender fruit that is easily crushed. Some examples are:
Fruit Tip Flavor Combination
Apricots Use fresh apricots, not dried. Do not peel, just pit and chop Almond; raspberry
Berries (blackberry, boysenberry, loganberry, etc) Remove stems from blueberries. Use potato masher to crush Any combination of berries
Cherry Remove stems and pits. FInely chop. Blackberry; plum
Plums Pit and chop Apricot
Strawberry Hull and mash with potato masher Blueberry; raspberry; rhubarb
Peach Peel/Pit Vanilla; strawberry
Pear Peel and pit/core. Plum; lime zest
